About Pittsburgh Prayer Network (PPN)
Our Mission: To foster concerted prayer among Pittsburgh’s churches, ministries and individual Christian believers, uniting them in prayer for all our city’s citizens and communities.
Our Vision: To see every community in the Pittsburgh region covered with 24 hour, 7 day a week prayer by a network of praying Christians from local churches and ministries. We want to see all of Pittsburgh’s citizens reached for Christ through various forms of prayer evangelism.

Join Us In Saturating Pittsburgh with Prayer
All Christians are called to be intercessors (1 Timothy 2:1). Each has the God-given responsibility to engage in regular, sustained prayer for the personal needs and concerns of others all around us.
In recent times a “Kingdom Mindset” has motivated believers to organize prayer outside the walls of their churches. Many Pittsburghers have met regularly in homes, schools, places of business, anywhere and everywhere throughout their communities the Holy Spirit leads them, praying God’s “kingdom to come and His will be done in Pittsburgh as it is in Heaven.”
We believe the Holy Spirit is now raising up a greater multitude to pray in this manner. They are actively praying for Christ’s Kingdom to bring forth a great wave of healing and transformation for every family, neighborhood, community, our entire nation and world.
Let each of us consider these questions: Where do I fit in all this, in this Great Historic Move of God’s Spirit? And, what if I and other members of my church or ministry were to form intercessory partnerships, or just start praying with one or two friends for the Holy Spirit’s transformation of our region? How would such prayer make a difference? How would it change my own home? Neighborhood? Community? Our whole city and beyond?
The Bible answers. James says, “The effective, fervent prayer of the righteous avails much” (James 5:16). The Prophet Jeremiah says, “Seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you. Pray to the Lord for it because if it prospers, you too will prosper” (Jeremiah 29:7).

"Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on Earth will be bound in Heaven, and whatever you loose on Earth, will be loosed in Heaven. Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on Earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by My Father in Heaven. For where two or three are gathered in My name, there I Am with them." -- Matthew 18:18-20
